Nick has been around the Newfoundland basketball scene since highschool where he played at Waterford Valley High School. He also played on multiple provincial teams including the 2016 Newfoundland Men’s U17 Provincial team, as well as the 2017 Newfoundland Men’s Canada Games team. After high school Nick went on to play for five seasons at Memorial University.

During his time at Memorial University he completed a Bachelors of Physical Education and a Bachelors of Education (Intermediate/Secondary). Nick was inducted into the Athletic Honour Society at Memorial after the completion of his career.

Nick is currently a Physical Education teacher and a coach at various levels.
